Hey Marc and Angel, that quote really didn't sink in until you pointed it out. Thanks for shining some light on a sentence that I just took for granted.

<blockquote>"...seek to understand their motivations and intentions. Learn what you can by observing, what they value, what engages them, when they are more open and receptive and when they are reactive or non-responsive."</blockquote>

That's extremely wise advice. Far too often we fail to listen, to truly understand the language and message the other person is conveying to us. I enjoyed reading the interview. Thanks for sharing it.

Hey Barbara, observing is an important skill that helps us improve our lives. When we get insight into who we are and what makes us tick, we can steer our focus in those directions and magic will happen.

Hi Karl,

What a fabulous interview. I love how he stressed "observing". I think we can learn so much by observing others, and listening. Often they are saying one thing, but if you observe/listen long enough, you "see" their true self. That can be a real eye-opener.
