Hi Marc and Angel, I’m just glad I have a forum to promote your blog.

Hi Sean, small steps are the key. I believe the moment when working happy clicked for me was when I was able to relax while moving forward. I kept taking small steps without too many expectations. Which allowed me to be happy with whatever results I got. I was still chipping away and still enjoying the moments I was in. I’m not always able to feel this way, but when I do I always find a way to reward myself and try to get better at it.

Thanks for the encouraging words. It is difficult sometimes to remember that the small steps are crucial and that nothing will happen overnight, or over many nights!

Hi J.D., when we build slowly we are more prepared for success.

Hi Lance, our passions and strengths must coincide with each other. When they do it makes happiness and success a lot easier. If they don’t, we have to take baby steps to get to where we need to be. You nailed it on the head.

Hi Nichole, I’m guilty of wanting quick results too. I think it’s really important that you realize this. Now that you see this in yourself, you can work with your emotions and try to realistically accomplish your goals.

Great post. I think what a lot of people do…is they are in a hurry to get to where they are going that they become impatient and sometimes derail themselves because they aren’t seeing the immediate or quick result (I am guilty of that). I think the hard part is getting control of all the ideas and things you want for yourself and concentrate on each one, one at a time.

Great thoughts here today. Something that jumped out at me in the video was that about only certain people having the talents each of us have. And to that point – I think a real key in all of this, is for each of us to truly find that thing which we are really talented at and love doing. Otherwise, we might do good works, but will we ever truly reach “great”? I think that in order to reach our greatness (which we all have within us) we do have to dig deep and find that thing which resonates with us. And it very likely will be an itch we can’t scratch at first – and that’s okay – as long as we’re taking those baby steps in the direction we desire (as you mentioned). Great thoughts on moving forward Karl!
