7 Simple Ways to Live Your Passions
Why do you choose to get out of bed in the morning?
You may do it because of:
> Love
> Habit
> Fear
> Excitement
> Obligation
> Dedication
Whatever gets you out of bed, it’s enough to keep you moving forward. At what point do you ask yourself…
Am I happy with my career?
This is the question that we all ask ourselves, but we often don’t take the time to figure out the answer. It’s just easier to keep doing the same boring stuff. Why put pressure on ourselves to change when we aren’t sure what will make us happy?
This is the type of thinking that prevents a person from moving forward.
You have an opportunity to create the career that will make you happy if you start right now.

I Miss Your Bad Jokes When…

When you work with someone who annoys you, they can seem devastatingly awful. So awful that it can send you into a depression. Trust me – - it has happened to me.
Maybe it’s an annoying client who won’t stop emailing you, a co-worker who loves to click his pen all day long, or a boss who puts way too much work on your desk.

What do you need?
I’ve been on a mission to make your business/career a happier place. So far so good, but now it’s time for me to put out some products to help you level up your superpowers. I’ve been working on a few ideas that I know will help you, but I don’t want to sell you something that you don’t want to buy.
So here is how this will work…
I created an online survey that will help me develop products that will help you become happier, more creative and successful in your business/career.
Please fill out the questionnaire and give me your feedback. We are on this journey together. The happier I help you become, the happier I become. It’s a win-win for both of us.
Thanks for being so awesome. I can’t thank you enough for everything that you do to support Work Happy Now.

The Ultimate Guide to Releasing Your Career Frustrations
If you are anything like me, frustration can put a heavy damper on your career. Your frustration comes at you from external and internal issues.
Externally you may have to deal with…
> Coworkers
> Clients/Customers
> Technology
Internally you may have to deal with…
> Tissue pain (i.e. a bad back)
> Depression
> Creativity issues
I can make these two lists very long, but you understand all the elements that a worker must deal with. Heck, you deal with your own issues every day.

4 Ultimate PC Productivity Tools
Editor’s Note: This is a guest post from Wendy Graham of online colleges.
If you work from home or attend online college, you know the importance of keeping productive; while working from the comfort of your house may seem like the best of all possible work environments, it can have its drawbacks. For one, you must have strong reserves of self-discipline and treat your work life as it were… a job. This can be difficult if one uses the same home computer for work and leisure. If this applies to you, consider the following programs.

Who Won the Free Superpower Coaching Contest?
I loved the idea of paying my readers back with a contest for 2 Free Superpower coaching sessions. I’m sorry that I couldn’t have picked everyone. The entries were very heartfelt and inspiring. Click here to read them. I can see that there is a lot of fear when it comes to taking a career to the next level. This is a big part of what makes up my superpowers. I was afraid to start my own business, but I’ve talked to the right people and learned a lot of tricks and good habits along the way.
It’s all about asking the right questions. If you can’t ask the right question, you’ll never get to the root of the problem. I had a coaching session with Katie of the Levity project that inspired me to help you. She made me dig into my heart by asking the right questions.

Learn How to Write from the Blogging Masters
Most of my writing lessons in the past 3 years have come from reading blogs. I’ve read many great writers in my day from Ayn Rand to Charles Bukowski. They taught me the value of clear and entertaining prose. What they didn’t teach me was how to sell myself. I didn’t realize that as I read blogs I was learning how to build my business.
As we progress through this modern world we are all building our brands. We build careers, businesses, and relationships to bring us happiness. Everyone you connect with on Facebook could lead to a new venture. That’s why writing is so important. If we are smart, funny, and clear we can build relationships that will grow our brands.
If you aren’t learning from people who have careers you desire you are missing out on a huge learning experience.
It’s why I’m an affiliate of Pace and Kyeli’s World Changing Writing Workshop. They got some of the smartest bloggers on the planet to help teach the core concepts of writing that entices and sells.

How to Harness Your Superpowers
Starting a small business will force you to figure out what your superpowers are very quickly. I learned this the hard way.
I started up my business with what I thought was a good understanding of my superpowers, but holy cow was I wrong.
I thought I was fairly organized. Nope. My kryptonite.
I thought I was good at cold calling. Nope. More kryptonite.
It wasn’t until I began to keep track of my progress that my success and happiness began to change.
I forced myself to assess my progress every day, month and year. I created time for reflection to make sure that I wasn’t blindly hoping for the best. I was actually eliminating the habits that weren’t making me happy and adding habits that were making me happy.

Loving what you do is an…
Loving what you do is an…
…ongoing process.
It’s a relationship that takes work. Just like you have to work at your marriage, your friendships, and yourself, there is no escaping the process of career development.
I fell into the trap of trying to create a static love for my work. I didn’t consider the fact that it’s a relationship like any other. I wanted to feel good all the time. This is impossible.
Letting go of a fixed perspective is the quickest way to enjoy what you do.
Even when you love what you do, you still need to develop new emotional skills, new physical skills, and new relationships with the work and your people.
Think:
“How can I improve my happiness by just 1% today?”
“What actions can I take?”
“Who can I help?”
